Cellular 2nd state and Network I and II will be exhibited in Huddersfield and then onto Hot bed press Salford and 20:21 Visual arts centre in Scunthorpe.

Selected from and open submission the 13th Flourish Award for Excellence in Printmaking brings together a diverse range of printmaking by artists from across the UK.
Established in 2009 by West Yorkshire Print Workshop to champion printmakers working in Yorkshire, Flourish now celebrates work from across the UK. Each year the exhibition includes 12-15 artists shortlisted for the award by an independent panel of judges. This year’s judges were Grant Scanlan, Huddersfield Museums Manager; Tracy Hill, Artist and Martyn Lucas, Turnpike, Lead Officer – Arts.
This year featuring the work of 15 Shortlisted Artists the Flourish Award offers and insight into the work of artists working in printmaking today from all across the UK. A wide variety of printmaking techniques are included in the exhibition. Mixing of highly skilled traditional printmaking alongside more experimental, unconventional work, pushing the boundaries of scale and medium. The changing selection panel offers a unique and exciting perspective every time.
The competition is open to established, emerging, and student artist/printmakers. The winner of the Award will go onto present their own solo print exhibition in Huddersfield. They will also benefit from a 2-week period of access to the facilities at WYPW. In addition, there are runners-up prizes, including our student/recent graduate award.
An exhibition of all shortlisted artists work will be showcased at the gallery space in West Yorkshire Print Workshop at the Piazza, Huddersfield in Spring 2024 before going on tour to Hot Bed Press in Salford during the Summer, and concluding at 20:21 Gallery in North Lincolnshire in the Autumn.
